If some homebrewer came up with a veritable copy of Flipnote for the regular DS (sans DSi-specific features, of course), it would be a homebrew contest winner to be sure. So you don't have the camera part, big deal, you still have everything else. Still, for the most part, I think a regular DS version of Flipnote could be made. Like I said, I've seen nothing of the Flipnote app beyond the end-result vids.
